Health plan ratings distribution

Of 527 HMOs evaluated by Weiss Ratings, barely 1 in 6 achieved rankings of excellent or good. Two thirds of all HMOs were rated fair to weak. A plus sign indicates that a plan is in the upper third of its letter ranking; a minus sign, the lower third.
