What HMOs, insurers review when predicting health care costs

Sedgwick Noble Lowndes, a large national employee benefits consulting company, asked more than 30 health insurers and HMOs to list factors they review when planning for increases in health care costs. These respondents estimated how much costs will rise or drop from the year before and why.
